The University of California, Berkeley and Haas offer numerous training opportunities for Haas staff.
Staff Learning and Development
The UC Berkeley Office of Human Resources Staff Learning and Development link provides a comprehensive list of training & development information for UC Staff, including:
- The Career Place, a newly developed website for staff career development.
- Reduced Fee Program for Career Staff enrolled as students at UCB
- Interactive Course Enrollment (ICE) which provides courses specific to our work at the university.
- Educational Leave and Financial Assistance
UC Policies that support Staff Learning and Development includes information regarding eligibility for educational leave and financial assistance.
University of California, Berkeley Extension:
UC Staff receive a 10% discount when they enroll in courses through the UCB Extension
To enroll through the UC Extension and receive the discount you will need to download the following form: Enrollment_Form
University of California, Berkeley - Summer Sessions
Summer Sessions offers a staff discount to current career,
casual or partial-year staff from any UC campus, lab or Office of the President.: UCB Summer Sessions
Haas Computing Center
A variety of computing resources and classes are managed through Haas Computing Services Training Resources. Kathleen Valerio periodically announces when new classes are scheduled via email.
Evening & Weekend MBA (EWMBA) Recorded Sessions:
Employees at the Haas School have access to view select recorded Evening Weekend MBA course videos. These videos are password protected. Your password will be the same as you use to log in to the Haas Computing Services network . To view the tapes, go to this address: http://www.haas.berkeley.edu/EWMBA/Videos/
