The UC Berkeley Office of Human Resources provides a comprehensive list of training and development information for UC staff, including:
- The Career Place, a newly developed website for staff career development
- Career Counseling Library at the Tang Center
- Reduced Fee Program for career staff enrolled as students at UC Berkeley
- Educational Leave and Financial Assistance:
UC policies that support staff learning and development includes information regarding eligibility for educational leave and financial assistance.
The University supports both career- and job-related professional development activities. It is expected that employees and supervisors meet on a regular basis to discuss professional development opportunities.
