Is the World Really Flat? Profs. Rose and Lyons Level Each Other

Professors Andrew Rose and Richard Lyons discuss Thomas Friedman's recently updated book Is the World Flat? Lyons takes the affirmative position in debating the perspective on globalization put forth by Friedman. Rose argues the negative position. "John Lennon once wrote 'Imagine there's no country. It isn't hard to do.' That seems to capture the views of my opponent and I take it about as seriously as other lyrics by Lennon like 'I am the walrus,'" says Rose.
