Haas Loan Repayment Assistance Program -- Application Procedure

Download the application. Applications must include all pertinent information regarding loans, employment and income. In addition to the application you must provide:
- A current resume
- A separate statement from you describing the employment you have secured
- A copy of your 2008 federal tax return (if you are married or registered CA domestic partners and filing separately, please provide your spouse's tax return with all W-2s)
- A copy of each Loan Disclosure Statement provided to you by your lender(s)/servicer(s), proof of capitalized interest, and proof of loan repayment in the form of statements of payments made to lenders or copies of canceled checks
- A copy of your most recent paycheck stub which includes year-to-date figures

Applications are due on January 10 for February disbursements (for loan payments made from July 2009 - December 2009), and June 30 for August disbursements (for loan payments made from January 2010 - June 2010).
Limited Funds Contingency and Right to Modify
In the event that funding is not sufficient to fully fund all qualified applicants in the manner anticipated above, the Financial Aid Committee will select Program participants and determine award levels. The Committee may opt to disburse available funds pro rata, or to adjust award levels on an individual basis considering salary and total loan indebtedness. Haas reserves the right to change or modify at any time all or part of the provisions stated in this policy, even as they apply to current participants. The current terms are subject to change at any point.
