Amy Dickie
Prior to attending Haas, Amy Dickie spent nearly four years working for Investors' Circle in Boston, MA. Investors' Circle is a national network of angel investors, professional venture capitalists, foundations, family offices, and others who are using private capital to promote the transition to a sustain- able economy by investing in early-stage companies that have a social and/or environmental mission. Previously, Amy also worked for two mission-driven companies, CircleLending and Care2, as well as an internet start-up in Silicon Valley. She has a B.A. in History from Stanford University and enjoys ultimate frisbee and ski touring. Amy looks forward to continuing her career in sustainable business both during and after her time at Haas.
Danel Mayer
Danel Mayer co-founded Kerem Partners, Israel 's first middle market buyout fund focusing on investing in companies located in low socio-economic areas. Danel led the fund to take longer investment horizons in order to reap the returns in social as well as financial aspects, recognizing that for those areas, a better standard of living can be achieved through an efficiently operating economy sustained by effective commercial and business organizations. Danel acquired extensive deal-making experience from his tenure at the corporate finance division of Bank Hapoalim, Israel 's leading commercial and investment bank. Prior to that, Danel was a founding member of TheMarker.com, a financial online media company. After his time at Haas, he hopes to apply his passion for business ventures that have both social and profit goals by founding his own company. Danel holds a B.A. in Psychology and Economics from Tel Aviv University.
Vladimir Stenek
After spending eight years at one of the top architecture firms in Chile, Vladimir Stenek founded his own architecture firm in 2003. Through his projects, Vladimir is in constant search for solutions that balance and maximize the relationship between investment, design, quality of life, and the environ- ment. Prior to his time in Chile, Vladimir worked with an international non-profit in Peru whose mission was to restore historical monuments and provide professional training to local communities. One of Vladimir 's other interests is languages; he is fluent in five languages, and has made incursions into lexicography. Vladimir holds a B.A. in Architecture from Universidad de Ingenieria in Lima, Peru and Univerzitet u Sarajevu in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a Postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture from Universidad Catolica in Santiago, Chile.
