Founder & Chairman
Mike Homer is the Chairman of Kontiki. He is also an investor and advisor to several Silicon Valley startups, including Opsware (formerly Loudcloud), Tellme Networks, Palm, and TiVo. Previously, Mike was a Senior Vice President at America Online. Before the acquisition of Netscape by AOL, he held various executive positions at Netscape Communications, including Executive Vice President and General Manager of Netscape Netcenter, and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Business for Social Responsibility
Aron Cramer is President and CEO of Business for Social Responsibility (BSR). Prior to assuming the post of President and CEO, he was based in Paris, where he launched BSR's Europe office in 2002. He also led the establishment of BSR's Hong Kong office in 2001. Cramer joined BSR in 1995 and served as the founding director of its Business and Human Rights Program.
Cramer has worked closely with dozens of BSR's member companies in numerous industry sectors, providing advice and counsel on the full spectrum of CSR issues, including Ford Motor Co., Chevron, Nike, Unilever, Royal Dutch/Shell, Novartis, Novo Nordisk and Rio Tinto. He has also provided support and counsel to many of the leading CSR initiatives in recent years, including the UN Global Compact, the Global Reporting Initiative, the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights, and the Fair Labor Association. He has worked extensively with the World Bank, the US Agency for International Development and other public institutions.
Prior to joining BSR, Cramer served as an attorney in private practice in San Francisco and at ABC News in New York. He is a graduate of Tufts University and obtained his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He was born and raised in Los Angeles.
Cramer speaks frequently before industry audiences and in other fora, and has been widely quoted in media outlets including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, National Public Radio and others. In 2004, he co-edited Raising the Bar, a publication providing guidance on implementation of the UN Global Compact principles.
Gary Elliott
Vice President, Corporate and Brand Marketing
Gary Elliott is responsible for leading HP’s Corporate Marketing assets and in creating a worldwide brand valued by customers and employees. Elliott is known for his ability to inspire and pursue new approaches in creating and growing brand value. He challenges his marketing teams to think dynamically, take prudent risks and continually experiment with new ways to build relevance with customers. He has successfully expanded the HP brand into new territories and new demographics by pioneering programs both within the HP global marketing community as well as through communities, partnerships and initiatives outside the company.
In his current role, Elliott leads HP’s Brand Development, Strategy and Standards; Philanthropy, Environmental Marketing, Privacy, Industrial Design, Marketing Alliances and Sponsorships, Corporate Events, Executive Briefing Centers, Emerging Media Technologies, and other marketing communications activities. He is a member of HP’s Global Marketing Council.
Elliott was instrumental in merging the HP and Compaq brands when the companies joined in May 2002. He has garnered a number of recognized marketing awards during his tenure for HP, including the prestigious Art Directors Club Annual Vision Award, AdWeek Magazine's Campaign of the Year, Creativity Magazine's International Advertiser of the Year, the Cannes Gold Lion for Media, and Effie awards for marketing effectiveness. He has also received 11 international film awards for spearheading the historical documentary film “HP Origins”, which was an authentic record exploring HP’s celebrated history. Elliott was recently< named by Advertising Age as one of the top 25 Power Players in Marketing for 2007.
Elliott also oversees HP’s One Voice efforts, a cross-company marketing initiative to establish a world-class integrated brand for HP. Essential to the company’s post-merger re-branding efforts, One Voice has helped build the industry’s most consistent, cohesive brand across product lines and geographies. This global initiative has been referenced in a number of marketing journals as a model for building brand identity---as well as saving the company hundreds of millions of dollars.
Prior to the merger Elliott was Vice President, Worldwide Integrated Marketing Communications at Compaq. Before joining Compaq in May 2000, Elliott was President, IBM Services Asia Pacific for Ogilvy Mather, headquartered in Tokyo and responsible for marketing communications in 14 countries.
David Kepler
Chief Information Officer & Senior Vice President, Shared Services, Environment, Health and Safety
The Dow Chemical Company
D. E. (Dave) Kepler is senior vice president of Shared
Services, Environment, Health and Safety and chief information officer (CIO) of The Dow Chemical Company. In this
capacity, Kepler has global responsibility for Customer Service, Information Systems, Purchasing, Six Sigma, Supply
Chain, Work Process Improvement, and the Company's Environment, Health and Safety activities and has executive oversight
for Dow’s activities in Canada. He is also a member of the Office of the Chief Executive (OCE).
Kepler joined Dow in 1975 in the Western Division Computer and Process Systems group. After progressive Commercial and Information
Systems roles throughout the United States, Canada and the Pacific, he was named director of Chemicals and Plastics Information
Systems in 1993. In 1995, Kepler assumed additional responsibility as director of Global Information Systems Applications. He was
appointed vice president and CIO in February 1998, and in 2000, assumed the role of corporate vice president of eBusiness. In 2002,
Kepler undertook commercial responsibility for the Advanced Electronic Materials business and further expanded his role the following
year, adding responsibility for Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. Kepler assumed his role as corporate vice president of Shared
Services and chief information officer (CIO) in January 2004. He was appointed senior vice president in March 2006 and added additional
responsibilities for Company's Environment, Health and Safety activities.
Kepler serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American
Institute of Chemical Engineers. In addition, he chairs the Chemical IT Council and Cyber Security Program. Locally, Kepler serves on the
Board of Directors for the Midland Community Cancer Services and Alden B. Dow Museum of Science and Art. He was the 2004 United Way of
Midland County Campaign Chair.
Kepler received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Art Peck
Executive Vice President, Strategy & Operations
Art Peck is Executive Vice President, Strategy & Operations, of Gap Inc. This role includes responsibility for corporate strategy and global business development. Gap Inc.’s Strategic Alliances business unit (franchise operations) reports to him, as do the global logistics, procurement, facilities, construction and architecture functions.
He also serves as the acting President for Gap Inc. Outlet, with responsibility for Gap Outlet and Banana Republic Factory Stores.
Peck came to Gap Inc. in May 2005 from The Boston Consulting Group, an international strategy and general management consulting firm, where he was a Senior Vice President and Director.
Peck serves as a trustee on the board of Gap Foundation. He is a graduate of Occidental College in Los Angeles and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
