Gap Inc. Scholars in Corporate Social Responsibility
The Gap Inc. CSR Scholars Program provides scholarships to three full-time incoming MBA students who demonstrate a commitment to the CSR field in their professional and educational pursuits.
Haas Socially Responsible Investment (HSRI) Fund
The Haas Socially Responsible Investment (HSRI) Fund is first-ever student-managed investment fund at a leading business school that uses corporate social responsibility (CSR) criteria as a screen for the fund's portfolio. Open to Haas MBA and MFE students.
Levi Strauss Small Grants Program
The Levi Strauss Small Grants Program engages and promotes innovative thinking and creative ideas on ways to advance the CSR agenda both inside and outside of the Haas community.
LifeScan Community Relations Graduate Fellows Program
Sponsored by LifeScan, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with diabetes, the LifeScan Graduate Fellows Program is a year-long fellowship program for two 2nd-year Haas MBA students with a passion for corporate social responsibility.
McDonald's
CSR Research Fellows Program
Launched
in 2005, the McDonald's CSR Research Fellows Program gives
Haas MBA students first-hand exposure to the myriad CSR challenges
businesses face on a daily basis. Through the program, a globally
diverse team of second-year Haas MBA students conduct a deep
stakeholder engagement study on McDonald's CSR activities.
Moskowitz
Research Program
Moskowitz Research Program is an important research effort
at the Center that examines the foundations and trends in
the socially responsible investing (SRI) industry. The program
includes the Moskowitz Prize – the only global award
recognizing outstanding quantitative work on socially responsible
investing.
Peterson Lecture Series on Corporate Responsibility
The Peterson Lecture Series brings thoughtful and diverse leaders to Haas to address topics related to business ethics, corporate responsibility, the environment, and social entrepreneurship.
Social Enterprise Education Design (SEED) Fellowship
The UC Berkeley Social Enterprise Education Design (SEED) Fellowship program provides UC Berkeley graduate students who seek social enterprise internship opportunities at leading firms in the sector, with a network of other Berkeley students passionate about the field, and a cash stipend to make social enterprise internships financially competitive.
Sustainable Products & Solutions (SPS) Program
In collaboration with the UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and College of Chemistry, the Sustainable Products & Solutions (SPS) Program aims to create a multi-disciplinary learning and research environment where the foundations of sustainability – society, science, engineering, environment, and finance – are all considered simultaneously as new products and solutions are explored.
Gap Inc. Undergraduate CSR Case Competition
The annual Gap Inc. CSR Case Competition challenges undergraduate students to address real-life business issues in a socially responsible manner. The competition is open to undergraduate students at UC Berkeley and local area colleges. Teams will compete for a first place prize of $1,000.
CSR in the Technology Sector Multi-Client Study
In collaboration with the Haas School's Management of Technology program, the Center launched an innovative multi-client study in Fall 2006 exploring the critical corporate social responsibility (CSR) issues facing the technology sector.

CSR Competitions - Student Success Stories
Many Haas MBAs participate in CSR-focused case and business
plan competitions sponsored by other schools and organizations.
Providing a unique learning experience for Haas students who
are dedicated to the study and practice of CSR, the Center supports
student participation in external competitions through its
Levi Strauss Small Grants
Program.
