The course lectures cover the primary learning objectives of each class including methodology for solving assigned problems.  The discussion sections focus on
review of material covered by the lectures and solutions to selected homework problems.

ABSTRACT OF COURSE'S CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
This is the second in a series of three courses covering financial accounting. Enrolling students should have completed UGBA 102A, Introductory Financial Accounting, or its equivalent.
This class covers intermediate financial accounting.  The topical coverage is divided into three approximately equal topical areas. The first third of the course reviews and expands upon
material covered in the introductory financial accounting course.  The second third examines the principles of asset recognition and measurement, and the third is devoted to liability
recognition and measurement principles.
