F678 has been reserved for each morning for camp participants.

Work: Monday through Thursday, we'll meet at 2:30 for short presentations of work in progress in room C320 (Cheit wing). The schedule will be: Monday, Velasco; Tuesday, Kletzer; Wednesday, Taylor/Obstfeld; and Thursday, Engel. Lyons, Kasa, and Devereux will speak Friday afternoon at Club Fed.

Play: Campers are invited to a barbecue chez Rose/Green, Monday after 6pm (directions below). On Friday there will be a dinner at the Waterfront Café in the City. Both feature outdoorsy eating so be prepared (i.e., bring a sweater).

Some Information:

• Out of town visitors will be staying at the Durant Hotel, one block South of the Campus, one block East of Telegraph, and a 5-minute walk from Haas. It has a taxi rank, a restaurant (complete with infamous bar), and direct van service to/from Bay Area airports via the Bayporter Airport Van Service.
• The Haas School contains the Business and Economics Library and a Computer Center; it is at the East end of the UC Berkeley Campus. Maps are available on-line; Evans Hall, home of the Economics Department, is about three hundred yards North and West. To sign out your key, see Diane Burke (x3-8404) in S544 (Student Services wing); you’ll need a (refundable) deposit.
• The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is across the Bay and accessible via BART (at the "Embarcadero" stop; it takes about 35 minutes) or bus.
• The barbecue Monday evening is at 85 Vicente Road Berkeley 94705; 849-9143. It’s about a mile and a half from campus, above the Claremont Hotel. Lycos provides door to door directions; so does Yahoo.
• Generic driving directions (including parking) are available from the Campus.
• The S.F. Gate provides an excellent web-site for Bay Area restaurants, entertainment, news and weather.

• Please use your credit card for long-distance calls.
• Please send us your original receipts for your (hotel and travel) expenses.
• E-mail stations and web-sites are available throughout the Haas building (e.g., in the copy rooms, computer center, library, and so forth). But you should rely on your own computer and home e-account.
