Cohort Information

Welcome to the BerkeleyHaas community! Congratulations on your admission to the Evening & Weekend MBA Program. Please carefully review the information below to prepare for the semester.

BLUE cohort (classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-9:30 PM)

Registration Fees

The per unit fee for the 2017-18 academic year is $3265 for new and continuing EWMBA students. The assessed fees for fall are expected to be $26,120. This assumes an 8 unit course load.

Your fall bill will be assessed in July. Payment in full, or enrollment in the Tuition & Fee Payment Plan, must be done by August 19. You will receive additional information about this at WE Launch in July. For information on Financial Aid, please visit the Haas Financial Aid website or contact finaid@haas.berkeley.edu. Core Waiver Examinations

Students with a strong background in certain areas can request to take a waiver examination. Please review the Waiver Guidelines carefully to determine if a waiver examination is appropriate. You should also review past course syllabi (for reference only) and any other posted materials as part of your preparation.

Fall core waiver exams will be administered on-site at Berkeley-Haas on the following days/times:

Thursday, July 20 from 6:00-9:00 PM in Cheit 330
Saturday, July 22 from 1:00-4:00 PM in Cheit 330
Sunday, July 23 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM in Cheit 330

Complete the Waiver Request Form no later than July 17 to sign up for an exam.

*Information on core waiver exams for spring core courses will be provided at the end of fall semester.*

The Cohort Model

As you may be aware, we have placed each of you in a cohort of approximately 60-65 students for your core courses. The cohort system allows you to experience a close-knit and supportive team environment and meet students from diverse backgrounds.
