About
Terry Taylor is the Milton W. Terrill Chaired Professor of Business Administration at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. His research interests include AI, labor, on-demand service platforms, service operations, social responsibility in operations management, and supply chain management.
He serves as a departmental editor for Management Science, associate editor for Operations Research, and senior editor for Production and Operations Management. He is former president of the Manufacturing and Service Operations Management Society. He received the Columbia Business School Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Berkeley Haas’ Cheit Award for Teaching Excellence.
He is currently a visiting professor at INSEAD, while on sabbatical from Berkeley. Previously, he served as a professor at Columbia and as a visiting professor at Dartmouth and the National University of Singapore. Prior to his academic career, he was a consultant for McKinsey & Company. He received his PhD and BS from Stanford University.
